This took me a loooong time to figure out – wordpress doesn’t seem to make it very obvious. Thanks for asking, because I’m sure there are quite a few people out there with the same question in their mind!

1. Get the html code for your image. To do this, put a picture into a post and change the option to html view. Copy the code.
2. Go to “design” and then “widgets” and click the option to insert a text widget.
3. Paste the html code into a text widget, name it if you want, and drag the widget to the spot on your sidebar that you want it to sit

2. If you want to give a suggestion for club penguin, how do you give it to them? – Motina123
   Well, Motina, that’s a good question – I have been trying to suggest some things to Club Penguin too, and to be honest, I haven’t had much luck with it all. On the Club Penguin website, you’ll see at the VEEERY bottom of the site, in little letters, a few things to click, including Contact Us. If you can’t find this, use this link: http://support.clubpenguin.com/help/contact/. You’ll see that there are a few options about what type of thing you want to contact Club Penguin for: General Support Questions, Technical Questions, Billing/Membership Questions, Report a Bug and Fan Mail. You have to choose the one you want. I think that suggestions should go under Fan Mail,  because it is not a question or a bug. When you click on Fan Mail, you’ll see an email address on the screen:  fanmail@clubpenguin.com. You will have to open up the email that you first used to create your penguin, and send the email to this address. Although I didn’t get a reply when I did send my email, Club Penguin says that they will hopefully reply within a few days.

3. How do you put a picture on the sidebar of your site? – Bling/Alex
   Follow these instructions:
   1. Create a picture and save it so that it is ready to use when you get the sidebar widget sorted out.
   2. You now have to get the html version of this picture. This is how I do it: I upload the picture into a post, which I don’t save, and then click “html” at the top right hand corner of the post that I am using. It’s next to the “Add media” button. (Oh, by the way, if you would like to link the picture to another website, e.g. so that when someone clicks it it will go straight to a page/site, you have to link it by clicking the link button on the toolbar where you can make the text bold, bigger, etc. Then paste the website url of the site you want it to link to, into the correct box. This will link the picture to this url) Now, you will see a bunch of numbers and letters and symbols from changing it to html. Copy it.
   3. Go to widgets. Do this by going to your dashboard, clicking “design” and then “widgets” and selecting a Text widget. Move this up to the spot on your sidebar that you would like it to be on and paste the html code. Then, click “change” and “save changes”.
   4. Check it out! Make sure it worked!! :S

4. Where is Rockhopper? – Foojifatfoot
   Well Fooji, I’m glad you asked that question because I would like to know too! It’s impossible for anyone besides the Club Penguin moderators to be able to tell you exactly where Rockhopper is and when, but I can give you some tips to help you find him. Try popular servers, like Mammoth, Frozen and the servers on the left side of American servers at popular times (around 5:00pm Club Penguin time). You’ll know when Rockhopper’s on when you see a huge crowd all yelling out Rockhopper. Rockhopper is a little bit bigger than a normal penguin, and always wears red and a hat and beard, so it’s easy to find him once you’re in the right room. Also, Rockhopper’s favourite rooms are his ship (all levels) Plaza, Night Club, Snow Forts, Dock, Pizza Parlour, Beach and Iceberg. You can have a look around. 5. What do you do with the barrel on the mission? – Yoyo09053
   It took me a long time to figure this one out, but after a few tries, I uncovered the mystery!! BEFORE you fix up the Gift shop, you have to collect the barrel (don’t shake it!!) and put it in your inventory. Go down through the tunnels underground until you get to the gift shop, which is blocking your way. Use the wrench in your spy phone to take the pipe out from in front of the door. Then take the barrel out and shake it. Once you’ve shaken it for a few seconds, and it is ALMOST shaken up, put the barrel down below the gift shop by clicking with it on the ground. Then it will explode. See Mission Walkthrough for a picture!
6. Why was my son banned for 22 hours, when he did nothing wrong? – Bungle54
   Well Bungle, there are a number of reasons why penguins are banned, depending on what they did wrong. Penguins are banned when they are reported by other penguins, so there are different ways that a penguin will feel like another penguin deserves to be banned. (By the way, the amount of time when a penguin is banned for depends on how many times they have been banned before. E.g. The first time, you will only be banned for no hours, whereas after being banned a number of times, your penguin will be banned for forever). Here are a list of reasons why being banned occurs:
   1. The penguin either uses bad language, bullies people, asks for personal information, or is just, in general, a mean and rude player. Maybe you should ask your son what exactly happened, and if there were absolutely any situations with could result in being banned.
   2. Another way that a penguin can be banned is if another person gets onto that penguin and does any of the above things, and is reported. This happens if passwords are swapped, if the password is remembered on a computer and someone else gets on, or if the password is too easy to guess. As I have already mentioned in one of the questions before, try to make your passwords like things out of Club Penguin, like the name of your school or an object that you use in real life. Maybe you could use a mixture of capitals, punctuation, numbers and letters in your password, like “H0wdyP@rtn3r”, etc. Also, never make your password like your penguin’s name. Maybe you should ask your son, Bungle, if his password is too easy to guess.
   Well, Bungle, I hope this has answered your question, and I suggest that you have a chat with your son to see what really happened. Otherwise, feel free to email Club Penguin and see if they can help you!
7. I was just looking at your CP History Page, and I was just wondering if beta testing will ever come back? – Shaylien
   Beta testing is used when testing a computer game, like Club Penguin, at the start before the game is “officially” put out for the public. Although Beta Testing won’t ever come back to Club Penguin, testing might! Like, for instance, not long ago there was a big project for Club Penguin called the CPIP – Club Penguin Improvement Project, and it was, obviously, so that they could improve Club Penguin. Penguins would add their penguins to this project and log into test servers, where only testers could log into. This was pretty similiar to Beta Testing, but the CPIP went on when Club Penguin was around. To see the CPIP website, go to: http://community.clubpenguin.com/cpip/.On the other hand, it would be a real shame to see the Beta Hat come back. It’s a real prized possession for those who are lucky enough to own it, and it separates the old from the new. You have to admit, it would be a bit depressing to see all those very new people walking around with beta hats, when they have no idea what they were once for. Beta Hats were used for the first party on club penguin – and I think they should be reserved just for that. Hopefully the people in charge of CP realise this too, and I think they do. If they did bring back the Beta Hat, then which rare item would we crave for, and which people would we gather round at? Those Beta Testers are special, some of the first people to play CP. Thats why I think the Beta Hat should stay with them.

8. How do you take pictures of Club Penguin and put them on your site? – happpyyyybbbHere’s how you take pictures of Club Penguin and put them on your site.1. Go onto Club Penguin and go to the place or do what you want to take a picture of, eg. the Iceberg, or waving.2. When you’ve done that, press the Prt Sc key on your keyboard. You’ll find it next to F12 and Pause/Break -If you don’t get the shot you wanted, just press the Prt Sc key again when you’ve got the shot you wanted.

   3. Open up paint, or another “art” program (if you haven’t got any art programs, Word will do, but this is a last option).

   4. Go into Edit, up in the top menu, and select “Paste”.

   5. If this doesnt work, you can try pressing the Ctrl and V key at the same time.

   6. Save your fabulous picture.

   7. Then open up a post or page on your site and click the Add Media, upload images button.

   8. Upload your saved picture and then click for it to add to your site!

   9. Ta daaaa!

9. What happened to my penguin name? I made my new penguins name as Opanya444 but it’s turned into Penguin39987706! – Opanya444
   That’s an interesting question Opanya. I recently discovered that when i made a new penguin, the same thing happened. Apparently, lately Club Penguin have been getting behind with their “Name – Checking” system. How the name-checking system works is that when you create a new penguin name, the normal system itself can spot normal rude words in a name, but cannot spot disguised rude words. (I won’t give an example of a rude word, but pretend that “lollipop” was a rude word. People might spell it like “loleepop” or ‘lolypopp”) That’s where the CP Team come in, to spot the bad words and deem the name appropriate. Until CP has checked your new penguin name, your name will appear as Penguin followed by a series of numbers. If the name, however, is not approved of, then your penguin name will stay as Penguin39987706 (for example). If you believe your name is totally appropriate but after a few days is still called “Penguin39987706″ then I’d suggest emailing CP about it, since it might of been mis-interpreted. There’s more information about it on the Club Penguin FAQ.
10. What is your favourite kind of pie? – mrslide6091
    Lol! Great question! rofl. It’s not everyday you get someone asking that!! Zeb’s actually got some history to do with CP behind “pie” lol.
    • Wigs’ favourite pie is chicken pie. On CP, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was “puffle pie”.
    • Zeb’s favourite pie is yet to be decided… pumpkin pie does sound delicious. I’m a vege-head (vegetarian for all of you who are not familiar with the phrase!) and I don’t usually eat pies because they normally have meat in them. I’ve tried a few spinach and cheese pies… and some potato and pumpkin pies. I have to agree they are both just as nice as eachother. About the history of me, pie, and CP… I joined a band called “PIE” made up by Eva once. That lasted a while… I don’t know what happened to it now. Anyway, they used to be obsessed with pie. Everytime I’d say hello to Eva or one of our band members, they’d always go “PIE!!!”, and “PIE RULES!”. She’d brainwashed everyone! Oh, and here’s a pie picture to end this answer off! It’s a group of people that thought this was a bit of fun lol. I found them on frozen, aaaages ago… as you can see from the costume!! I wouldn’t be surprised if that was Mike92 (or one of his worshipers rofl) … just look at their names!!



11. How do you change your password on Club Penguin? – Brio2

    After the new features came out, the password changing option that used to be under Manage Account has moved – I had to have a look around for it too!

    To change your password, go to the FAQ page and click Change my Password, then fill out the following form with your email address and penguin’s name.

    I’m not sure if this just gives you an automatic password like 1048ajgo109 or if you can then create a new password – give it a go and tell us what happens!!

12. How do you put borders on your pictures you upload on WordPress? – Rix
    Putting borders round your images on wordpress is pretty easy, and effective too, since not many people do/know how to do it. It makes your site look a bit more original and different. Here’s some simple steps of how to put a border round your picture -
    Upload the picture you want and insert it in the post/page.
    When you click once on the picture, you will see two boxes pop up on the picture, one with a and the other one with a . Click on the box.
    Next to “Edit Image” click “Advanced Settings” –
    Scroll down until you see “Borders”. Now type in a thickness. Infinity being thickest, 1(1 pixel thick) being thinnest. The borders we have round the pictures on our site are around 5 – 7.
    See where it says “Styles” above “Border”? That’s where you can choose which colour and style you want your border to be. Once you’ve entered your border size, click once on “Styles” and you will see something like “border: 7px solid black;” come up. Instead of “solid” you can use styles of borders like dotted and dashed. Try typing in dotted instead of “solid“.
    This is the colour part. The code should be saying something like “border: 7px dotted black;” now. Instead of “black“, choose a different colour. Some colours won’t work. If you type “light” or “dark” infront of a colour, it won’t work either. Here are some unsual words you can type in instead of the word “black” in “border: 7px solid black;” or you can just use normal words (like blue , yellow , red , etc.) . – skyblue (one word), gold , silver , lime , aqua , tan , olive , teal , plum , orange , pink or turqoise .
    You can preview your changes by typing in everything, then clicking on “styles” again, then scrolling back up to your picture preview up the top.
    When you’re done, click “Update” (down the bottom) and you’ve got yourself one cool border! Here’s some examples of borders and their “style codes” -
