We finally got a reply! Thanks a lot to Agent Chase who sent the same email to cp and got a different reply to us!! It’s very interesting to compare the two. Compare them for yourselves! Club penguin Fan Mail Teams and Club Penguin Support Teams obviously respond in different ways. -

Hello Skipperjay & Wigwams (cool names), 

Thank you for your email and feedback. I apologize for the delay in our
response; your patience is much appreciated. 

When parties make there way back to the island often many of the old
decorations are unpacked to help celebrate the occasion. Take the Water Party
this year. There were some really cool things that were brought back from the
year before and some cool things created just for this year. However some of
the older things needed to be patched back up so that there able to be used
again. Pretty cool eh? 

Some of the items from the Fall Fair were brought back from last year but there
were also a few cool new items that were delivered to the prize booth in Forest.
Were you able to collect them using the unique ticket system? Some items are
brought out in different colors because just like penguins, some items come in
every color. We hope you can keep working hard to collect them all. 

The 3rd Anniversary Party is due to start on October 24th and we hope you can
make it. If you have been around for a while you might remember the huge
celebrations from last year. On the party cool scale, I\'m sure this year will
be no different. Billybob has said that there will be some cool surprises for
all penguins to enjoy. 

Thank you again for your email and ideas. Be sure to keep sending your ideas
in. While we can\'t guarantee that all suggestions can be used at Club Penguin
we love to hear what great ideas you have come up with. We work very hard to
hear what penguins like and make sure the Club Penguin remains a safe place for

Hello Wigwams and Skipperjay,

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the to email us and for supporting and enjoying Club for as long as you have! I think it\’s very cool that you have met online and created a blog together about Club Penguin.

I really do appreciate and understand your concern with old items returning.
It\’s true we do want all penguins to feel special and unique while they are playing online. We also want newer penguins to feel included in old traditions and parties. This is why older items to return to be purchased again. However, not all items return. There are a few special items that can only be collected once such as the anniversary hats that are released in the new color every year. Also, did you know a pin is only released once? Once it is gone it will never return. Why not try wearing some of the older pins on your player cards to show penguins how long you have been around. You can also tell them what happened when it was released and why it looks the way it does! I\’m sure they would really like to know what has happened in the past with parties from penguins like you who have experienced it first hand.

We always like hearing feedback from penguins like your self. Especially because you have both been around for a while. Thank you for letting us know what you think! If you have any other feedback or any questions or concerns, please let me know. We would really like to hear them.

From Wigwams and Skipperjay

Dear Club Penguin Team,

We, Skipperjay and Wigwams, are writing this letter because we would like to give some feedback and suggest some ideas to Club Penguin.

We, Skipperjay and Wigwams, have been involved in Club Penguin for quite a long time now. We have both enjoyed playing, chatting, and just collecting items and having fun on Club Penguin, and have made many friends and met many penguins.

After being a part of Club Penguin for a long time, we enjoy collecting new items at parties, Rockhopper visits, and special occasions. As we are non members, free items that come along are lots of fun and pretty exciting for us.

But, lately, we have been finding the new items a bit disappointing because old items have been coming back and items that were special to us because they were our first items are coming back, so we’re beginning to loose our first CP memories. We are getting annoyed with not being able to add a new item to our collection when a party or Rockhopper visit comes around. Instead, old items are coming back and are no longer “old” or “rare” anymore.

We understand that Club Penguin isn’t all about being “rare” or “old”, but instead, having fun and chatting with friends. We also understand that you may be wondering why we are complaining about old items coming back, since we probably collected items that were old and had come back ourselves. We have said that countless times ourselves, but this time, Club Penguin is becoming less and less fun because of items being repeated. It’s not just old items that we hate being brought back, it’s mainly the new ones that we saw come out last year.

Take the recent Fall Fair for example. The non members who had been to the Fall Fair 2007 only got one completely new clothing item (the Giant Green Sunglasses) which looked quite similar to the smaller green sunglasses, and a “half new” item (the Cotton Candy returned in a different colour). We also got a new background, which you did a great job on. As well as that, we received a “yellow” balloon pin, which looks like a copy of the “green” balloon pin. For us this was very disappointing. Overall, out of the seven items, we only got four new items. Even more disappointing, there is one less item that last year. We had been waiting so long for the party and new items, only to see old items return.

We know you have probably heard this plenty of times before, but please dont just delete or ignore this email. We really think items are an important part of Club Penguin, and old items returning are very disappointing for us. In this email, we are just trying to provide some new ideas and feedback.

When you’ve been a part of Club Penguin for a long time, I think you deserve to have some old items that newer penguins dont have just yet. It does give the new penguins something to think about and look forward to. I know everyone wants to be nice to new penguins, but you do need to earn old items by sticking around and getting to know Club Penguin through time. Sometimes it’s disappointing to see new penguins wearing old items, since they have no idea of the history of the item, or why it came out in the first place. Besides, the older penguins have supported the game for a couple of years – they deserve a thankyou, right? We’re not suggesting to give the new penguins nothing, we’re suggesting not to bring back the same items every year for the same occasion. We agree that items should atleast wait 2 years before they return. I know you don’t do this every time, but the Fall Fair was a good example, and now is a good time to change before people start to leave.

We have also come up with a few ideas for future items and parties, with a little help from some friends who play Club Penguin, from our website, www.skipperjay.wordpress.com. One suggestion is you could have a “Club Penguin History” or “old” themed party, where lots old items could return, and new penguins could get to learn a bit about Club Penguins History. Another suggestion is that “G” and “Aunt Artic” could be real penguins, just like Rockhopper, and go around giving out gifts. That would give penguins something to search for. You could also have a “pet party” and give some history of the puffles, and have a party for them. You could even introduce a new “pet”. As you can see, penguins have plenty of new ideas, which means the old ideas don’t have to be repeated so often.

We no longer look forward to parties we’ve been to before like we did with our first parties. We would love the thrill of “getting a new item” to return when a party is announced. We would hate Club Penguin to become an “ad-zone”, and hopefully you will not become that. That is one of the reasons why you are so popular, and from everyone, we wish you remain that way.

One thing we would really like you to think about is safety. Are you going a bit over the top, can penguins still communicate easily through filters, or are you just keeping us safe as well as letting us enjoy ourselves at the same time? We (Wigwams and Skipperjay) met eachother on Club Penguin, and now, 2 years later, we’re blog partners and great friends. I don’t think we could of done that now.

There is one last thing we should let you know before we send this email to you. We wrote this letter on behalf of all of these 108 people who play Club Penguin, or used to. They were willing to sign their names when we explained what we were doing, and we got 100+ names in less than a week. Obviously, this means penguins are agreeing with us and think that old items should not be repeated so often. Here are their names -
